Based on the official public holiday schedule for 2025 approved by the Government, civil servants, public employees, and workers will have a 4-day break for the National Day holiday, from August 30, 2025 to the end of September 2, 2025 (Saturday through Tuesday).
In order to ensure the quality of passenger service during the National Day holiday, West Coach Station Joint Stock Company (West Coach Station) has developed and will implement the following service plan:
1. Passenger Volume Forecast
During the National Day holiday on September 2, 2025, the number of buses is expected to increase by over 5% and the number of passengers by over 7% compared to the same period in 2024. The peak travel day is anticipated to be Saturday, August 30, 2025, with an estimated 65,500 passengers and 2,250 buses departing per day — representing increases of more than 5% in passengers and over 7% in buses compared to the previous year.
2. Ticket Sales Plan
From August 29 to September 2, 2025 (Friday through Tuesday), ticket sales at West Coach Station will operate as follows: From 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily for transport companies that delegate ticket sales to the station; 24/7 ticket sales for transport companies that sell their own tickets. Passengers wishing to purchase tickets can call 1900 7373 or visit the official website at www.bxmt.com.vn for detailed information.
3. Ticket Prices for the National Day Holiday
Transport operators planning to increase ticket prices to offset the cost of empty return trips (after dropping off passengers) must submit a fare adjustment application to the Department of Construction in their respective locality for approval. A copy of the approved fare adjustment must also be sent to West Coach Station for public posting at ticket counters and for official ticket sales.
Passenger service during the September 2 holiday must strictly ensure security and order, environmental sanitation, fire prevention, and traffic safety.
In addition, transport operators must inform all drivers of the following: Do not carry more passengers than allowed; Ensure electronic ticket issuance and ticket sales strictly follow the declared prices; Provide dedicated and courteous service to all passengers; Do not arbitrarily increase or decrease fares outside the officially declared and posted prices; For further information, please contact the Operations Department at hotline 1900 7373 or Mobile 0907 595 912 (Mr. Tran Nhan Hau – Head of Transportation Coordination Department) ỏr visit our website at www.bxmt.com.vn.
